Job Title: Senior Workday Implementation and Configuration Analyst
Location: Somerset, NJ
Duration: 12 Months
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Workday Implementation and Configuration Analyst to lead and support the implementation of our new Workday HR system. This role is critical to ensuring a successful deployment and long-term stability of the platform, with a strong focus on security configuration, process flow design, and platform administration.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Workday implementations, particularly in configuring security groups, business process frameworks, and platform settings. This is not a software development role, but rather a high-level platform administration and configuration position.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a Workday subject matter expert during implementation phases Collaborate with HR, IT, and external Workday partners to ensure alignment on system design and functionality Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues, especially those related to security and access Document configuration decisions, workflows, and system architecture Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on Workday functionality Support post-implementation stabilization and enhancement effortsRequired Qualifications

- Security group setup and maintenance
- Business process design and optimization
- Platform settings and tenant configuration
- 5+ years of Workday experience, including at least one full-cycle implementation
- Deep understanding of Workday security frameworks and business process configuration
- Experience with Workday platform administration (non-development)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Workday certifications in HCM, Security, or Business Process Configuration
- Experience working in hybrid or remote teams
- Familiarity with HR operations and compliance requirements
- Candidates within commuting distance to Somerset, NJ are preferred for occasional onsite collaboration.
