Job Details
We have an immediate need for a Temporary Payroll Specialist to review and manage Certified Payroll Reports (CPRs) for prevailing wage compliance. This is an onsite role in our Beaverton, OR office and requires excellent coordination with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify CPRs for accuracy and completeness; resolve discrepancies and potential violations.
- Ensure compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act, state prevailing wage requirements, and other labor standards.
- Utilize LCPtracker to track and manage payroll compliance reporting.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, vendors, and subcontractors on CPR submissions and compliance inquiries; provide guidance and follow-ups to ensure timely, accurate reporting.
- Maintain detailed records and audit trails; prepare and submit compliance reports to internal/external stakeholders.
- Support project managers with compliance documentation throughout project lifecycles.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Accounting/Finance/Payroll is a plus but not required if you have 5+ years of hands-on payroll experience with Certified Payroll/prevailing wage compliance.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in payroll roles with direct Certified Payroll/prevailing wage exposure (construction or public works environments preferred).
- Proficiency with LCPtracker (strongly preferred) or similar payroll compliance systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interfacing with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- High attention to detail, accuracy in data management, and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to interpret/apply labor compliance requirements and manage deadlines across multiple projects.
