LRE Tools Engineer

This is a Full-Time (W2) Remote position supporting the Federal Reserve Bank. Only accepting candidates that reside in EST, CST, or MST Time Zones. Full benefits, PTO, and paid holidays are inclusive to the position.

Salary Target: $95K-$110K/YR (Salary is flexible based on the relevant professional years of experience and background related to the position)

Requirements: ship Work Status Authorization; Public Trust Clearance or willingness to attain a Public Trust Clearance (Enhanced Background Screen- Criminal, Financial, and Drug Screening); College Degree or 5-10 years of relevant professional experience; Experience with OpenText Loadrunner Enterprise, Splunk UF (agents only), IBM License Metric Tool, and installation of other agents utilizing automation jobs; Experience with system administration for Windows, Solaris, and RHEL OS; Experience with Scripting (.bat and .sh); Experience with automation tools and updating, creating, running jobs

Description:

Tools team member to support multiple tools within account working as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). The position requires the ability to manage and troubleshoot as well as plan and implement releases/patches/upgrades. The tool SME updates documentation, manages (create/update/close/resolve) change/incident tickets. SME follows ITSM processes for tasks to complete installs and validations. Tools include.

  • OpenText Loadrunner Enterprise.
  • Splunk UF (agents only).
  • IBM License Metric Tool.
  • Installation of other agents utilizing automation jobs.

Qualifications/Responsibilities:

Skills needed to support the role include:

  • Attention to detail.
  • System administration experience for Windows, Solaris and RHEL OS
  • Scripting (.bat and .sh)
  • Knowledge of java and perl a plus
  • Strong investigation and troubleshooting skills
  • Must be a self-starter and work with limited direction
  • Professional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience with automation tools and updating/creating/running jobs
  • Knowledge of OpenText, Splunk and IBM tools a plus
  • AWS Certification and knowledge of tools a plus
  • College degree or 5-10 years of technical experience
  • Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
