Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to lead the design, integration, and delivery of solutions that meet engineering and business requirements for our T-Mobile for Business and T-Mobile for Government customers. This role involves partnering with cross-functional and external teams to develop robust solutions and architectures, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise and core network environments. With high-level visibility across the organization, the role requires strong executive communication skills, the ability to craft executive-level presentations, and the expertise to provide regular project updates to senior leadership. Project management experience and a strong technical foundation are essential for driving success from concept to completion.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Partner with external teams and stakeholders to design and deliver innovative solutions and network architectures that align with engineering standards and customer requirements.
  • Own projects from initial design through integration and implementation, ensuring solutions are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (engineering, sales, architecture etc.) to align technical requirements and strategic business needs.
  • Develop executive-level communication materials and presentations, providing regular updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Leverage enterprise and core network experience to ensure scalability, security, diversity, and performance in all solution designs.
  • Lead and track project milestones with strong project management skills, ensuring risks are mitigated and dependencies are managed.
  • Serve as a trusted technical and strategic advisor for T-Mobile for Business and Government customer solutions.
  • Understands system protocols, how systems operate and data flows.
  • Aware of current technology benefits.
  • Expected to lead and deliver complex network designs.
  • Deep understanding of the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete design work.
  • Independent study of current technology is expected.
  • Drives engineering projects by active contribution to the application of engineering techniques; preparing reports and calculations. Expected to supervise associate and base level engineers as needed.
  • Develops procedures and processes to validate and enhance and optimize network.
  • Creates appropriate validation and inspection techniques and effectively documents results.
  • Contributes to designs to implement new ideas which improve an existing and new system/process/service.
  • Understands and can apply new industry perspectives to our existing business model.
  • Review existing designs and processes to highlight more efficient ways to complete existing workload more effectively through industry perspectives.
  • Seeks opportunities to improve designs, processes, or product by reducing cost, improving efficiency, or quality.
  • Proactively contributes during brainstorming sessions.
  • Maintains knowledge of existing technology documents.
  • Writes basic documentation on how technology works.
  • Contributes clear documentation on multiple systems used.
  • Able to document systems designs, business requirements and technical interpretation.
  • Develops and provides technical data for incorporation into internal presentations.
  • Technical Leadership: Collaborates with technical teams and utilizes system expertise to deliver technical solutions.
  • Continuously learns and teaches others existing and new technologies.
  • Contributes to the development of others through mentoring or in house workshops and learning sessions.
  • Influence technology and policy decisions made across the appropriate functional organization.
  • Contributes to new and existing technology options that supports business goals.
  • Strategic end to end dimensioning, planning and performance of the network

Education and Work Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree Engineering/Computer Science (Required)
  • 5 yrs Technical engineering experience. Required

Base Pay Range: $92,600 - $167,100

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
