Salary: $50.00 USD Hourly - $55.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Technical Program Manager
Duties: Lead datacenter decommissioning efforts, ensuring safe and efficient shutdown and removal of hardware.
Manage the launch of new datacenters, coordinating logistics, equipment deployment, and configuration.
Oversee P2 retirement projects by planning and managing the transfer of services and decommissioning of relevant infrastructure. Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to align on project goals and timelines Implement comprehensive reporting on project progress, identify risks, and define mitigation strategies to ensure milestones are met on time.
Communicate status updates to stakeholders, providing transparency on project health and addressing any issues promptly.
Skills: 5+ years of experience in technical program management or a similar role within or adjacent to datacenter operations. Strong understanding of datacenter infrastructure, including on-prem and cloud environments. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (specifically in infrastructure domains) to achieve project objectives. Proactive problem-solving abilities.
Experience with JIRA Excellent stakeholder management and communication Ability to ramp up quickly and operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Keywords: Education: 4 year degree in CS or similar domain 5+ years of experience in technical program management or a similar role 5+ within or adjacent to datacenter operations
