Job Details
- Ensure all products meet customer and industry quality requirements through detailed inspections and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to drive robust manufacturing processes and improvements.
- Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Inspect parts visually and ensure compliance before shipment.
- Review routers and paperwork to confirm all processes are completed.
- Prepare certificates of conformance and certification packages.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCAA) investigations and corrective actions.
- Prepare PPAP and AS9102 packages in line with APQP guidelines.
- Maintain adherence to aerospace, military, and automotive quality systems (AS9100, TS16949, NADCAP).
- Assist in the development and application of Control Plans, FMEA, GD&T, and Design of Experiments.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 2+ years of quality engineering
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or defense.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend technical documents in English.
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, ratios, percentages, and more.
- Ability to interpret complex technical instructions and documents.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Effective communication skills to interact with coworkers and customers.
- Previous metalcasting experience is preferred but not required.
- Basic Spanish skills are a plus, but not required.
