Job Details

Title: Mid-Level WPF Software Engineer
Location: San Diego, CA (Northeastern part) (onsite preferred, hybrid possible)
Start Date: 8/11
Duration: 6 9 months, (potential for temp to perm but not required
Overtime expectation: Not Expected, could have some OT
No drug screen or background check required**
Product/Project: Cardiac Med Device
Summary: Our client is in the process of taking their med device application from prototype to CE and PMA submission. They are looking for a WPF Software Engineer to do unit testing, IEC 62304 documentation, requirements generation, and implementation of some new development. Their preference is for someone who would be comfortable doing implementation and testing rather than new development and architecture. This role could end up transitioning to permanent so there will be more opportunities to do more development in the future. An ideal candidate will have strong experience with WPF, PRISM, unit testing, and IEC 62304 documentation.
Required Skills:
2 10 years of WPF development experience
Experience with PRISM framework
Familiarity with IEC 62304 and CE Mark processes
Strong documentation and communication skills
Experience writing software requirements
Some UI/UX and algorithm integration experience
Bonus skills (not required):
Cybersecurity awareness in medical device software
Experience supporting clinical trial software
Familiarity with Atlassian tools
