Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Symplr Payroll Resource for a 4-month contract. This hybrid role will require 3-4 onsite visits to Champaign, IL throughout the engagement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Symplr (or Kronos) and a strong understanding of payroll processes, particularly how they integrate with Workday. This role will provide advisory support to the payroll department during a Symplr project, assist with integration-related questions, and help troubleshoot and resolve defects.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Symplr payroll functionality and configuration.
- Advise payroll staff on best practices and process improvements during the Symplr project.
- Provide input and guidance on integrations between Symplr, Workday, and related systems.
- Assist with investigating and resolving payroll-related defects and system issues.
- Collaborate with project teams, IT, and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and adoption.
- Participate in key project meetings, both onsite and remote, to track progress and provide expertise.
Qualifications:
- Strong working knowledge of Symplr payroll systems; experience with Kronos is highly beneficial.
- Understanding of payroll integrations with Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
- Proven experience advising payroll teams during system implementations or upgrades.
- Ability to troubleshoot payroll processing and system defects effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel for 3-4 onsite visits to Champaign, IL.
