Description

We are in the process of recruiting a Systems Analyst in the water industry, to be based in NEWARK, Delaware, 19702-1934, United States. This role will involve administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting business applications, as well as planning and developing application roadmaps, project schedules, and annual budgets. The role also includes ensuring compliance with policies and practices, and managing and minimizing the department's risk.

Responsibilities:

Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot a portfolio of business applications
Anticipate, respond to, and identify business needs and recommend, design, implement, and enhance business processes and transaction processing across business applications
Draft, analyze, and implement applications, related business rules, business process flows, information flow diagrams, functional and technical specifications, configuration, batch processing, issue remediation, and enhancements
Design and write reports, SQL queries, and PL/SQL programs to facilitate reporting, application troubleshooting, and application enhancements
Provide guidance to others in the administration, troubleshooting, and use of business applications
Develop, implement, and administer software, tools, and procedures to monitor, alert, report on, and remediate issues within business applications
Plan and execute projects to upgrade existing applications to maintain vendor support
Ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, procedures, and regulations
Review business processes, consulting with business users to assist in identification of technology related business process improvement efforts
Assure that proper records and documents are created, maintained, and recoverable
Meet with vendors & advisory services to canvass suitable capabilities at competitive rates.

Skills required include Database, DB2 Database, EO/IR systems, IBM, Microsoft, AB Testing, Business Requirement Document, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments, PeopleSoft Financials, and Oracle.

Requirements

Proficiency in database management and DB2 Database
Experience with EO/IR systems
Familiarity with IBM and Microsoft products
Ability to conduct AB Testing
Capability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents
Knowledge of computer hardware and configuration management
Experience in managing deployments
Proficiency in PeopleSoft Financials and Oracle
Ability to work in the water industry
Prior experience as a Systems Analyst
Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
