- Lead the formulation and assessment of solution alternatives for complex system designs.
- Perform requirements discovery and analysis to align architecture with business needs.
- Apply architectural design methods including TOGAF ADM and related frameworks.
- Define and document solution contexts, including business scenarios and use cases.
- Model solutions and develop building block designs that are scalable and reusable.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms.
- Contribute to organizational design, including roles, responsibilities, and governance models.
- Drive architecture best practices and principles across cross-functional teams.
- Communicate architectural plans effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support business case development and establish architecture metrics to track success.
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Expertise in TOGAF and other architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Solid experience with business case analysis, metrics definition, and organizational design.
- Proficiency in architectural design principles and enterprise-wide modeling.
- Proven leadership in team collaboration and architecture governance.
- Experience in solution modeling and applying building block design strategies.
- Prior experience building and integrating web applications.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Post-graduate degree preferred.
- TOGAF certification or other professional architecture certifications highly desired.
- Foundry Certification Exam Guide knowledge (Data Engineer, Application Developer) is a plus.
Experience:
- 15+ years of progressive experience in software systems architecture, design, development, and interconnectivity.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with a mix of technical and business stakeholders.
