Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer - III to join our team in Alpharetta, Georgia. This role involves modernizing mission-critical applications, supporting enhancements, and leading large and complex business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing applications, working with microservices architecture, and ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards. This position requires collaboration with on-site and offshore resources, adherence to Agile methodologies, and a focus on delivering best-in-class customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop deliverables based on business enhancements.
• Enhance existing applications on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Work on digital transformation and modernize applications using new technologies.
• Develop and maintain complex systems using microservices architecture and large databases.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
• Collaborate with Security, Engineering, and Platform/Production support teams to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
• Monitor security vulnerability reports and track fixes for reported issues.
• Evaluate and recommend technology stacks based on industry trends.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying microservices-based applications using Spring Boot within a Kubernetes environment.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java 21 and Spring Boot, preferably with the latest versions.
• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization technologies.
• 3+ years of experience working in a cloud environment, preferably Oracle Cloud.
• Experience in Agile environments and CI/CD-driven development culture.
• 3+ years of experience with Tomcat and Linux/Unix systems.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud and DevOps tools (e.g., GIT/Stash, Fortify, Jenkins).
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, including reviewing and tuning complex SQL queries.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve complex issues quickly and effectively.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills to work with multiple teams.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and make sound decisions and recommendations.

Desired Skills:

• Working knowledge of Kafka and IBM MQ.
• Experience with JSON and Camel.
• Familiarity with APIGEE.
• Knowledge of GenAI, Agentic AI, and AI tools.

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7+ years of application development and technology experience.

Pay Range: $65hr - $70hr on w2
