We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Support Specialist to be a vital part of the team at our Joplin Pet Food Manufacturing facility. This onsite role offers an exciting opportunity to troubleshoot, resolve, and elevate IT operations in a fast-paced setting, ensuring our production runs smoothly and securely.

What You ll Do:

  • Provide second and third-line technical support to site users, resolving hardware, software, network, and system issues efficiently.
  • Maintain and protect critical systems including LAN/WAN connectivity, servers, printers, and phones.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams on deploying new technologies and implementing best practices.
  • Escalate issues promptly while ensuring minimal impact on operations.
  • Support cyber and physical security protocols, working with compliance teams to uphold standards.
  • Manage hardware lifecycles and provide users with knowledgeable guidance on IT tools and processes.
  • Act as a trusted problem solver and customer champion every day.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience troubleshooting desktop, network, and system issues (1+ years preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Intermediate proficiency with desktop productivity tools and troubleshooting systems.
  • Solid analytical skills to diagnose problems and deliver solutions.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and uphold high professional standards.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive mindset for continuous improvement.
  • Basic project management skills and experience.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of cyber security and physical security best practices.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Familiarity with vendor management and technology deployment.
  • Additional certifications in IT or technical support.
