RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a UX/UI Designer II to join their team in Mountain View, CA.
Summary:
In this role, you will design and develop engaging and interactive training content using MDX, ensuring that the material is clear, concise, and aligned with our training objectives, and delivers a digital cinema experience with high-quality visuals, digital sounds, and acoustical conditions.
Responsibilities:
* Technical Writing: Write and edit technical documentation, user guides, and training manuals/playbooks that are easy to understand and follow
* Collaboration: Work closely with subject-matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to gather and incorporate relevant information into the training content
* Content Management: Organize and manage training content in a structured and accessible manner, ensuring that all materials are up-to-date and accurate
* User Experience: Enhance the user experience of our training materials by incorporating multimedia elements, such as images, videos, and interactive components, to create a digital cinema experience
* Testing and Feedback: Conduct thorough testing of the training content to ensure it functions correctly, and gather feedback from users to make continuous improvements
* Project Management: Manage multiple training content projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality
* Instructional Design: Collaborate with the training team to design and structure training content that aligns with learning objectives and engages the audience
* Quality Assurance: Review and test training materials to ensure they are error-free and meet the highest standards of quality
* Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in multimedia training and technical writing, and incorporate them into your work to maintain a digital cinema experience
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technical Writing, Instructional Design, or a relevant field
* 3+ years of experience in creating training content or technical writing, focused on MDX or similar technologies
* Experienced in project management and meeting deadlines
* Familiarity with sales, UX design principles, and experience in creating e-learning modules
* Proficient in MDX, Markdown, JSX, and knowledgeable in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* Strong capability in content creation and structure for a digital cinema experience, including animations and motion graphics
* Excellent communication skills; able to simplify complex concepts verbally and in writing
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot content development issues
* Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in training materials
* Able to work effectively in team settings and collaborate with various stakeholders
* Relevant certifications are a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
