Senior Actuary REMOTE- WFH!!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support personal lines rate filings (Auto and Umbrella), including direct engagement with state DOIs.
- Independently review and provide feedback on rate filings prepared by junior analysts, ensuring actuarial soundness and strategic alignment.
- Anticipate and address DOI objections with thoughtful, data-driven responses that uphold filing integrity and align with business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure filings reflect current trends, regulatory expectations, and competitive positioning.
- Utilize Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to prepare analyses, documentation, and presentations supporting rate filings and regulatory discussions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative field.
- 4+ years of actuarial or analytical experience, with at least 2 years focused on personal lines rate filings in the United States.
- ACAS or FCAS designation required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of Visual Basic or other programming languages a plus.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
