GDIT is seeking a Cloud Migration Administrator to help support our DEOS remote. This is a full-time remote position.

HOW A CLOUD MIGRATION ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

HOW A CLOUD MIGRATION ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Increases system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, develops system administrator procedures, and conducts system administrator training and skills assessment.
- Conduct cloud migrations and moving user Email and OneDrive Data
- Migration of SharePoint Data
- Manage migration tasks and quality tests and facilitate the successful migration of designated data into cloud-based tenants .
- review information provided within the notification in preparation for the requested user migration activities
- Evaluate requests concurrently to accommodate and balance the migration of designated data
- Shall validate size, complexity, and time to deliver based on the information provided, determine any capacity impacts
- Provides guidance on installation, configuration and maintenance of virtual hosts, operating systems, applications and databases related to migrations.
- Troubleshoots software and application issues to identify bottlenecks in migration operations and provides recommendations to ensure optimum performance and continuity of critical migration systems.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED - REQUIRED:
Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance
Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
Year's Experience: 8+ years of related experience
Technical Skills:
- Prior Experience supporting DoD Information Systems
- Expertise migrating data within Cloud based Solutions (O365 and Azure) Expertise migrating data between On Premises and Cloud based solutions
- Expertise in one or more of the following cloud migration areas: SharePoint, Email (Exchange), Teams, File Shares and OneDrive
- Expertise using AvePoint Tools to include AvePoint Fly
