Description: Our client is currently seeking a Application Database Developer-HYBRID

This is for a 2 year project to modernize the EPH suite of applications (Wellness Engine, Manage Site, Membership Site, Apex, Logistics App).
This position needs to be onshore because it will be mainly working with production data and our client contracts prohibit us from using offshore resources to view production data

***EPH Database Develop (This is not an Administrative Position this is an Application Database Developer)
Responsible for design of databases for Micro-services based architecture in Azure
Responsible for setting up development, non-prod and production databases using PostgreSQL
Expert in MongoDB
Experienced in working as an embedded database developer on a software development team to support full SDLC
Experience in working with a development team as part of Scrum team
Expert in managing, performance tuning and overall optimization of MS SQL Server
May write and tune T-SQL or PL/SQL code.
Will participate in data migration activities and work with application development teams to provide database access and knowledge

Responsible for the administration, optimization, monitoring, tuning and backup/retrieval of enterprise databases.
Additional responsibilities include creating and maintaining user access, space management, database refreshes, and database security.
Monitors database for potential problems and creates end-user reports.
Provides appropriate consulting, interfacing, and training for users.
Establishes and maintains policies, standard operating procedures, and associated documentation for user interaction with the database environment.
A minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Database Administrator is required
