Job Description Summary
The Configuration Management (CM) organization is responsible for transforming product requirements as well as engineering design intent into actionable product definition.
Through utilization of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) GTCC and Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) space, we are able to deliver on-time and quality product definition to supply chain functions globally. Gas Power Engineering (GPE) end customers are also partners and consumers of CM output.
The Configuration Management - Execution team is focused on the creation and maintenance of the project structure and Bill of Materials (BOM) for New Unit Requisitions from Order Release through the equipment's Commercial Operation Date (COD), in addition to supporting Conversions, Modifications and Uprates (CM&U) projects.
Senior Engineer - Change Control will be a member of the Change Control Board (CCB) team responsible for change management on Flange to Flange (F2F) and Accessories scope for Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Generator, Heat Recovery Steam Generation (HRSG), Balance of Plant (BOP) and Aeroderivative products.
Emphasis will be placed on support of GT F2F scope, Advance Orders (AO) and New Product Introduction (NPI). In addition, the role requires extensive collaboration with Greenville GT Design Engineering, Manufacturing and Program Management, which includes facilitation of Technical Change Forum (TCF) meetings.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $111,200-$185,400 USD Annually.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a Variable Incentive (VIC) bonus of 15%
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- CCB Chair for high, medium and low complexity changes - Reviews and approves Change Issues (CHGIs), Change Actions (CAs) and Unit Change Orders (UCOs) from the CCB queue across a minimum of two technologies (GT, ST, GEN, HRSG, Aero, BOP) according to SW, meeting the operational KPIs
- Facilitates Technical Change Forum (TCF) for Conceptual Configuration Review (CCR) and Final Configuration Review (FCR) of changes impacting GT F2F AO designs, coordinate New Unit requisition cut-in and management of impacted capital parts across stakeholders
- Supports the Principal Engineer on specific tasks towards improving operational KPIs, process enhancement/harmonization and breakthrough objectives
- Participates in Technical Change Forum (TCF) meetings in reviewing design changes and accessing impact, support Helpchat for change requestors
- Leads/supports change management training sessions for stakeholders and the development of training material
- Defines and leads ideas to simplify and harmonize processes, always with global perspective
- Defines and drives improvements to own process/work
- Actively participates in Lean events when required
- Develop Standard Work, create and maintain quality documents, procedures and work instructions within Confluence
- Collaborates in key business growth initiatives to increase productivity and eliminate escaping defects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Computer Science or other relevant studies or experience
- Experience in process use and development with regards to product definition development, Bill of Material management, configuration management concepts, program/project scheduling and field installation
- Demonstrated change management experience within Gas Power organization, proficient in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) GTCC tool

- Clear thinking, open to new ideas and demonstrated experience in the implementation of new tools and processes
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain and Services Parts teams
- Familiarity with Legacy Alstom technology
- Strong organizational, facilitation and leadership skills
- Proven track record of concurrently managing projects, monitoring progress and quality
