Salesforce Technical Architect

Location: Remote

The HigherEchelon Salesforce Practice is seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to lead full lifecycle Salesforce implementations, integrations, custom development, and data migrations within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Salesforce, experience in environment management and CI/CD deployment strategies, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions in line with agile methodologies.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, including custom development, integrations, and data migrations.

Develop and oversee the deployment of CI/CD pipelines for managing Salesforce environments and ensuring seamless release management.

Collaborate with Project Managers, Solutions Architects, and other key stakeholders to ensure project success.

Provide guidance and support to Salesforce developers, assisting with code reviews, pull requests, and troubleshooting deployment-related issues.

Work closely with the DevOps team to manage environment refreshes, synchronization, and maintenance activities.

Ensure adherence to agile software development practices and maintain strong code quality.

Support both front-end and back-end development activities, ensuring overall code coverage and quality.

Participate in deployment planning and ensure successful delivery of high-quality products.

Maintain comprehensive documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.

Provide clear communication and reporting to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Required Skills:

Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting complex Salesforce implementation projects.

Extensive experience in Salesforce environment management and deploying CI/CD architecture.

Proficiency with CI/CD tools, GIT source control, VS Code IDEs, branching/merging strategies, and conflict resolution.

5+ years of experience in custom Salesforce development, including Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and integration with REST/SOAP APIs.

Strong knowledge of object modeling in Salesforce and fundamental database concepts, including SQL.

Ability to simplify complex technical challenges into clear narratives for executive audiences.

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Salesforce Platform Developer I and Salesforce Administrator certifications required.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture roles.

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance if needed.
