Job Description
***Only qualified ADA Accessibility Web Forms Tester candidates located near the Atlanta GA area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***

Preferred Certification:
IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) certification is a plus

Required Skills:
Experience testing and or providing guidance on forms and documents to ensure compliance with ADA 508 Regulations and WCAG guidelines (2 Years)
Proficiency with accessibility testing tools (eg Axe WAVE Lighthouse ANDI Color Contrast Analyzer) (2 Years)
Familiarity with WCAG 21/22 guidelines including relevant success criteria for form elements (eg 131 331-334 412) (2 Years)
Hands-on experience with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation (2 Years)
Strong communication skills and ability to document technical findings clearly
Excellent attention to detail
Must be able to evaluate code specifically JavaScript (2 Years)
Basic understanding of JavaScript HTML CSS and ARIA attributes (2 Years)

Preferred Skills:
Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) certification from the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP) WAS
Knowledge of legal accessibility requirements (eg ADA 508 regulations EN 301 549)
Experience working in government compliance

Testing forms for accessibility, identifying issues, and providing remediation recommendations. Strong understanding of web accessibility principles and experience in identifying and documenting accessibility issues. The role involves testing forms for accessibility, identifying issues, and providing remediation recommendations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web accessibility principles and experience in identifying and documenting accessibility issues, particularly those affecting interactive form elements.

Job Responsibilities:
Review and test web forms across various browsers and devices for compliance with WCAG 21/22 (Levels A and AA)
Use assistive technologies (eg screen readers like NVDA JAWS or VoiceOver and Adobe Acrobat) to test form accessibility
Identify issues related to keyboard navigation focus order label associations ARIA usage poor color contrast and error handling in forms
Document and report accessibility defects clearly referencing specific WCAG success criteria including the severity of the issue and potential solutions
Providing clear and actionable recommendations for remediating accessibility issues
Stay updated on accessibility laws standards and evolving best practices throughout the project
Document issues Create detailed bug reports that clearly explain accessibility defects their impact on users and their reference to specific WCAG success criteria
Evaluate code Basic understanding of JavaScript HTML CSS and ARIA attributes as they relate to accessible forms
Validate fixes Retest defects after remediation to verify that accessibility issues have been properly resolved
Test to ensure business logic works as expected to verify nothing changed during the remediation process
Work with the CLIENT team to address accessibility concerns and ensure accessibility is integrated into the form design process
