Title: Full-Stack Developer
Employment: 6 Month Contract
Location: 100% Remote


Role Overview


We are seeking a hands-on, technically skilled Full Stack Developer with proven experience inthe Insurance industry, particularly in underwriting and policy management platforms. The idealcandidate is curious, technocratic, and collaborative-able to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to build scalable and secure applications that support core insurance business functions.



Key Responsibilities



  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions using Java, .NET, or Python.

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

  • Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms such as Ungork.

  • Support, enhance, and modernize insurance platforms focused on underwriting and policy management.

  • Collaborate with BAs, QAs, and Product Owners to gather requirements and deliver business-driven features.

  • Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure delivery.

  • Build and integrate REST APIs, GraphQL services, and messaging via MQ/Kafka.


Skills and qualifications


Required



  • 4+ years of full-stack development experience (Java, Spring Boot, .NET, or Python).

  • Demonstrated experience working in the insurance industry, particularly in underwriting and policy platforms.

  • Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).

  • Experience using low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Ungork).

  • Proficient in containerized and serverless architectures (Docker, Kubernetes, Lambda/Functions).

  • Strong background in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation testing practices.

  • Experience with RESTful API development, messaging (MQ/Kafka), and integrations.

  • Agile team experience and comfort leading Scrum ceremonies when needed.
