Cloud Architect/Engineer

Position Description: We are looking for a Engineer with at least 3 years of experience building and integrating cloud-based RPA/AI project implementations in the commercial or federal sector. The engineer will be collaborating closely with a team of developers to facilitate the construction of cognitive solutions to automate functions that would be deemed repetitive in the federal client s digital system. The engineer will be instrumental in designing, maintaining, and implementing the federal client s cloud infrastructure to achieve robotic automation that allows the client to focus on more critical, analytical tasks. This role will be pivotal in scaling a range of front and back-office activities for varied human related work including chatbots, optical character recognition, and cognitive computing. This is a technical role. There is no sponsorship for this position at this time. If selected, the applicant would be subject to undergo the required Personnel Security Clearance Process before starting responsibilities.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop, modify, and operationalize various software capabilities both on-premise and cloud.
- Migrate, enhance, and maintain code and tools that were developed by various development teams.
- Support API Integrations between bots and cloud-hosted applications.
- Optimize performance, cost, and reliability of cloud services.
- Provide support in managing and utilizing various server-based tools and capabilities in support of deployed automations.
Required Skills:
- Cloud architecture and engineering (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Networking, storage, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Must be able to work with code that was previously developed by a different team to perform appropriate adjustments to meet platform requirements.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's in Computer Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering.
- 3 years of experience planning, designing, migrating, building, and/or integrating cloud-based RPA/AI project implementations in the government sector.
- Must have Cloud Engineer or Architect Certification.
- Experience in Agile, DevOps, Test Driven Development (TDD), and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
