Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead strategic Data Management projects and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of high-impact technology initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with Data Management leadership, managing complex timelines, resources, and deliverables while navigating sophisticated technical challenges that directly impact the organization's data strategy.

The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, applying Agile methodologies to drive projects forward while maintaining clear communication across all levels of the organization. This position exists to address the critical need for experienced project leadership in the company's expanding data management initiatives, ensuring that strategic projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage strategic Data Management projects across technology teams with a collaborative, results-driven approach
• Identify, document, mitigate, and escalate program issues and risks to appropriate stakeholders
• Facilitate meetings with external vendors, project teams, and leadership to remove roadblocks and address changes in scope, schedule, or budget
• Apply Agile methodologies and serve as Scrum Master for daily stand-ups and status meetings
• Maintain clear, accurate project plans and comprehensive status reports for functional and program leadership
• Ensure solutions are sustainable and follow technical best practices in partnership with Data Management Architects
• Collaborate with the Data Management Function Lead on project timelines, deliverables, and resource planning
• Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations to senior leadership
• Align technical solutions with business requirements across multiple stakeholder groups
• Manage project resources and coordinate cross-functional team activities

Required Experience/Skills

• 4+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager on large-scale, complex projects
• 4+ years of Agile project experience, including proven experience serving as Scrum Master
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and Visio
• Strong ability to align technical solutions with business requirements and objectives
• Exceptional meeting facilitation, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
• Highly adaptable mindset with entrepreneurial approach to challenges
• Experience preparing and delivering executive-level presentations
• Strong background in data management or related technical domains

• SQL knowledge and database management experience
• Personal interest in data management and analytics technologies

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Project management certifications (PMP, Scrum Master, etc.) are highly valued.
