Job Details

We are actively seeking a Cassandra Architect for an immediate opportunity with our client based in Irving, TX. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days onsite and 3 days remote work per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize scalable Cassandra database solutions.

  • Define data models and architecture best practices for high-availability and high-throughput systems.

  • Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to ensure seamless deployment and performance tuning.

  • Evaluate current database infrastructure and recommend enhancements.

  • Ensure security, integrity, and high availability of data solutions.

Required Skills:

  • 8 years of experience in database architecture and engineering.

  • Strong expertise in Apache Cassandra including data modeling, performance tuning, and backup/recovery strategies.

  • Experience with NoSQL ecosystem and related technologies.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based Cassandra deployments (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure preferred).

  • Solid understanding of high-volume, distributed systems.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience integrating Cassandra with streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka).

  • Certification in Cassandra or related technologies.

Work Schedule:

  • 2 days onsite in Irving, TX

  • 3 days remote
