OT Solution Architect

Genesis10 is seeking an OT Solution Architect for a 12+ month contract position with our client.

We are seeking an experienced OT Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade Operational Technology solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all solutions comply with architectural and security standards while driving innovation and operational excellence across multiple projects. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy robust, scalable, and secure solutions that align with enterprise IT and OT strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Architectural Operations

• Lead multi-year OT projects from an architectural standpoint.
  
• Design, review, and approve project solutions to ensure compliance with architectural and security standards.
  
• Track, assess, and manage exceptions to standards while continuously improving operational processes.
  
• Identify and mitigate operational and architectural risks.
  

Technical Design & Implementation

• Develop both high-level and detailed technical designs that meet business requirements.
  
• Lead and coordinate all technical aspects of solution implementation-including applications, databases, security, and infrastructure deployment.
  
• Oversee deployment planning, certification, and software rollout activities.
  

Leadership & Collaboration

• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership across project teams.
  
• Collaborate with IT leaders to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks and strategies.
  
• Mentor technical staff and influence the adoption of best practices.
  

Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to the development of IT and OT architecture roadmaps.
  
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise strategies, reference architectures, and compliance requirements.
  
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
  

Regulatory, Security & Vendor Management

• Ensure regulatory and cybersecurity compliance for all OT solutions.
  
• Partner with vendors for service delivery, technology evaluation, and implementation of new solutions.
  

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related technical and architectural experience.
  
• 6+ years in large, distributed enterprise environments.
  
• 3+ years delivering enterprise OT or IT solutions aligned to business objectives.
  
• Experience architecting and implementing solutions with MEAN, LAMP, or .NET stacks.
• Proficiency with SQL Server and relational databases (Oracle, SQL).
• Hands-on experience deploying Kubernetes in virtual environments.

Compensation: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour W2, depending on skill and experience level.
