Description

We are looking for a dedicated Help Desk Analyst I to provide exceptional technical support across multiple locations in Midland, Michigan. This is a long-term contract position that primarily involves remote work, with occasional on-site visits as needed. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.

Responsibilities:
Provide Level 1 help desk support to approximately 75 end users across six locations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and network printers.
Manage service desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation.
Address hardware and software concerns, including upgrades and system configurations.
Perform basic network troubleshooting to ensure connectivity and functionality.
Support Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and ensure their smooth operation.
Conduct occasional on-site visits to assist with technical issues when remote support is insufficient.
Collaborate with team members to enhance user experience and resolve recurring issues.
Maintain a high level of adaptability to address evolving technical requirements.
Provide weekend support when required to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 and Active Directory.
Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Experience with service desk ticket management systems.
Ability to work effectively with network printers and POS systems.
Knowledge of basic network troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with software upgrade processes and systems hardware.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist end users.
Capability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.
