Job Details

Job: ERP Project Manager Location (if onsite/hybrid): Candidates must be local to Annapolis, Maryland and be willing to go onsite to client office three to four times per week. Expected duration: 9-12 months from candidate's start date

Must be local to Annapolis, MD or willing to work onsite 3-4 days per week. Interview process: 2 interviews with Client - 1 virtual technical interview, and 1 onsite interview-must be local

Required skills, experience, etc.: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in the public sector.- Proven experience leading ERP/Financial system implementations.- Expertise in Oracle ERP and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) implementation.- Strong understanding of project management methodologies.- Experience leading System Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End-to-End testing efforts on large IT projects.- Experience with automated ERP testing and managing test data.- Proven ability to analyze Financial business processes and translate them into technical requirements and test cases.- Demonstrated ability in change management and end-user training.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.- Ability to hold vendors accountable and manage contractual obligations.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.-

Job Description
We are looking for an ERP Project Manager to lead the testing and implementation of ERP/Financial systems. This position will be a 9 12 month contract with a hybrid environment in Annapolis, MD, 3-4 days per week.


What You ll Do
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Client, ensuring the vendor's deliverables align with strategic goals and operational needs
Conduct thorough analysis and documentation of existing public service workflows, identifying areas for improvement and translating them into clear project requirements
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Develop project cost estimates, conduct cost-benefit analysis, and track project costs against budgets
Hold vendors accountable for meeting contractual obligations, manage performance, and resolve issues promptly
Facilitate effective communication between all stakeholders, including public service personnel, IT teams, and vendor representatives
Identify and mitigate potential project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues
Identify and manage project issues that require resolution and maintain documentation of the person or team responsible for resolving the issue
Develop and implement strategies to support user adoption and minimize disruption during the transition to new systems
Provide regular project status updates, create comprehensive documentation, and maintain accurate records
Work closely with end users to understand their needs and ensure the implemented solutions improve their daily workflow

What You'll Need

Required:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a project management role, managing complex IT projects, preferably in the public sector
Experience leading Financial system implementations
Proven ability to analyze Financial business processes and translate them into technical requirements and test cases
Experience with automated ERP testing and managing test data to ensure proper inclusion in test cases
Experience leading System Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End-to-End testing efforts on large IT projects
Experience with Change Management and Training end users on ERP projects
Experience implementing Oracle ERP and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems
Strong understanding of project management methodologies
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to hold vendors accountable and manage contractual obligations
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
