IT Project Manager remote EST

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive IT Project Manager to support multiple concurrent initiatives across their user support and system conversion functions. This role will work closely with internal leads and stakeholders especially the hiring manager to keep critical projects on track leading-up to an August go-live. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-moving IT team, help create structure where it's needed most, and drive visible impact in a nationally distributed environment.

Location: Remote (U.S. Based) EST hours strongly preferred

Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $95-$105

What You ll Do:


  • Partner directly with the hiring manager to coordinate IT system conversion and user support projects.
  • Develop internal project plans, task lists, and process documentation to create clarity and accountability across teams.
  • Communicate effectively across MS Teams channels, OneNote, and Smartsheet to align multiple leads and departments.
  • Track progress on deliverables and project timelines in tools like MS Project and Jira.
  • Contribute to Agile or Waterfall methodologies depending on project needs.

What Gets You the Job:


  • 5+ years of experience managing IT projects, ideally with a background in Helpdesk, Support, or Systems Implementation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Jira, MS Teams (including channels and integrated tools), OneNote, and Smartsheet.
  • Bachelor s degree required; background in IT or related field strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills able to bring order to ambiguity and structure to fast-paced teams.
  • Insurance or financial services experience is a plus, but not required
