We are seeking an experienced Permanent Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This role is a unique opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals in a fast-paced, innovative environment. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving our Active Directory and Microsoft 365 systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, providing technical support to our team, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage our Active Directory and Microsoft 365 systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
2. Implement and maintain cloud-based infrastructure solutions, focusing on scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
3. Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement strategic plans for infrastructure growth and improvements.
4. Design and implement system automation processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve any system issues, providing technical support to our team as needed.
6. Conduct regular system audits, identifying any areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
7. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies, making recommendations for system improvements and upgrades.
8. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, maintaining system documentation as required.
9. Provide training and guidance to other team members on system usage and best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Systems Engineer role, with a focus on Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
3. Proven experience with cloud-based infrastructure solutions, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
4. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and system security principles.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
6. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
8. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
9. Up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends and technologies.
10. Certifications in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or related areas would be an advantage.
