Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Design, optimize, and support manufacturing processes for complex aerospace components such as shafts and refueling tubes.
  • Lead process validation and qualification efforts, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards (AS/EN 9100, ISO 14001, FAA, EASA).
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to streamline workflows, enhance process reliability, and improve throughput.
  • Implement and refine lean manufacturing techniques to reduce cycle time, scrap, and out-of-spec conditions.
  • Oversee root cause analysis of process and part deviations, driving corrective actions to uphold quality and performance.
  • Assist in developing customized solutions ranging from forging through final assembly and testing.
  • Support continuous improvement programs, including automation initiatives and advanced machining methodology adoption.
  • Maintain accurate process documentation ensuring traceability and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in precision manufacturing engineering, preferably within the aerospace or defense sectors.
  • Deep understanding of aerospace manufacturing standards and best practices (AS/EN 9100, ISO 14001, FAA, EASA).
  • Skilled in root cause analysis and proficient in process tools like PFMEA, MSA, and control plans.
  • Familiarity with lean principles, automation, and data-driven process optimization.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • A dynamic problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and meets stringent quality and delivery targets.
