Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily testing activities and coordinate support
* Participate in team meetings, defect triage/remediation, and JAD sessions
* Develop and execute test plans, cases, and reusable scripts based on requirements
* Perform functional, regression, security, ADA, and UAT testing; analyze results and recommend actions
* Document and track defects; ensure timely resolution and adherence to escalation processes
* Collaborate with QA teams on data setup, scope reviews, and issue resolution
* Create test automation scripts and maintain testing documentation
* Prepare and distribute test summary reports after each cycle

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience; Broad knowledge of software testing methods for acceptance certification
* 5+ years of experience in black-box, white-box, functional, smoke, and regression testing
* Strong analytical skills; Able to interpret test results and make recommendations
* Expertise in backend testing and advanced SQL (subqueries, joins); Experience with Oracle
* Proficient in Jira and tools like HP Quality Center, IBM Clear Quest/Test Manager, and MS Office
* Skilled in reviewing requirements to ensure clear functional use cases
* Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
* Technical proficiency: Oracle/SQL Server, IBM Test Manager, HP LoadRunner/QTP, Jira, MS Office

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
