Responsibilities:

  • Provides a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services for clients with diverse business and technological needs.
  • Interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand their requirements through gathering, documenting, and analyzing business needs and requirements.
  • Prepares and advises on business analysis policies, processes, best practices and standards to promote a comprehensive and consistent business analysis practice within the organization.
  • Provides holistic leadership across business analysis, project outcomes, and team of business analysts aligning their expertise with agile methodologies and ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Fosters effective communication between the team, Product Owner, and stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of goals and requirements.
  • Candidateage / groom product backlog based on user needs / prioritization input
  • Single point of contact for business analysis, agile leadership, and team coordination minimizing communication gaps, reducing the risk of misinterpretation, and promote more effective project outcomes.
  • Prepares training materials, training sessions on project delivery methodology in accordance with guidelines.
  • Lead presentations / demonstrations of solution design and build for consultation group and stakeholders
  • Create & review the user flows and user stories, and ensure they meet the overall product vision and consistency across features
  • Support QA, UAT , Architecture, and Technical activities to facilitate quality and enterprise standards are met
  • Support agile practices and encourage the improvement of service.
  • Identify gaps and improvements for enhance process flows/customer experience journeys.
  • Responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle working closely with the product owner, including: Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, Defining the product vision and Ensuring that the product supports the company's overall stXXgy and goals
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
  • Interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their requirements through gathering, documenting, and analyzing business needs and requirements.
  • Monitors progress, resolves problems and reports regularly to management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct discovery, cost benefit analysis and prototyping
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
  • Work closely with business and IT teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
  • Identifies dependencies with other teams and determines how to manage those dependencies without impacting the progress of the team.
Required Skills:
  • Project Methodology certifications such as Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Lean Six Sigma XX/Green/Yellow Belt, etc.
  • Knowledge of Government decision-making and project implementation processes is considered an asset.

General Skills:
  • Leads and conducts business analysis in order to assess client's business problems/opportunities and documents the business requirements in such a way that I&IT solutions can be determined.
  • Applies re-engineering concepts to promote business improvements through alternative and cost effective service delivery approaches
  • Leads and conducts business analysis at varying levels of detail appropriate to the project and phases of project, aligning with Government Unified Project Candidateagement Methodology, Enterprise Architecture and Gating Process, and Government Standard Systems Development Methodologies.

Business Analysis:
  • Leads and conducts business analysis both on an ongoing basis and for business projects to assess clients' business problems or opportunities, document the technical business requirements to meet the functional requirements, ensuring alignment with the Government project management and related methodologies.

  • Conducts ongoing business analysis activities and analysis within all phases of the project life cycle, including initial technical requirements, detailed plan of business analysis activity, business modeling, analysis of business transformation, new business development and acquired solutions, continual refinement of business requirements and identification of significant changes in requirement documentation and maintenance of approved business requirement.
