Lead Robotics/AI SW Developer/Engineer

Position Description: We are looking for a Lead Robotics/AI SW Developer/Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in building and deploying automated bots using the UIPath platform. The developer will be responsible for facilitating the construction of cognitive solutions to automate functions that would be deemed repetitive in the federal client s digital system. The developer will be instrumental in shaping the program by utilizing experience with UIPath as well as Agile, DevOps, Test Driven Development (TDD), and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) to achieve robotic automation that allows the client to focus on more critical, analytical tasks. This role will be pivotal in scaling a range of front and back-office activities for varied human related work including chatbots, optical character recognition, and cognitive computing. This is a technical role which will provide support for the full operations and maintenance lifecycle of RPA and cognitive automation solutions. There is no sponsorship for this position at this time. If selected, the applicant would be subject to undergo the required Personnel Security Clearance Process before starting responsibilities.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for the entire production support and maintenance lifecycle for assigned automations, such as, but not limited to, postproduction and change management activities.
- Manage deployment process in a manner that allows for the federal client s approved capabilities to be deployed and maintained into the client s native environment.
- Provide support in migrating, enhancing, and maintaining code and tools that were developed by various O&M teams.
- Develop, modify, and operationalize various software capabilities both on-premises and cloud.
- Support in managing and utilizing various server-based tools and capabilities in support of deployed automations.
- Follow and complete all required federal client ELC process requirements.
- Lead postproduction management of all related code and tools used to fully or partial implement solutions and prototypes.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in RPA tools especially UiPath. (May also include Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism)
- Programming languages (Python, .NET, JavaScript)
- AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, spaCy)
- Familiarity with API integration, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with FedRAMP and NIST cybersecurity controls is preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years in software development
- 3 years of experience building and deploying automated bots using UiPath platform in federal environments is required.
- Experience with RPA BOTs, chatbots, optical character recognition (OCR), cognitive computing, machine learning, artificial intelligence, data manipulation, automated responses, implementing workflows, data mining, data analytics, data validation, automated tests, and supporting architecture for these activities is preferred.
