Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute client application modernization projects using AI-driven solutions.
- Analyze legacy codebases to understand business logic, dependencies, and migration risks.
- Design and implement modern solutions while preserving legacy functionality.
- Implement code transformations and refactoring strategies.
- Collaborate internally to document designs, migration strategies, and lessons learned.
- Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies; develop mitigation strategies.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and modernization best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or 5+ years of equivalent software development experience.
- Proven experience modernizing legacy applications (COBOL, VB.NET, Ruby on Rails, ASP) to modern languages (Java, C#, Python).
- Strong understanding of software architecture, refactoring, and design patterns.
- Experience with code analysis, refactoring, and automated testing tools.
- Experience with AI tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, proactive mindset.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) in modernization projects.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Full-stack development experience (front-end + back-end).
