About the Role

As a SAS Developer on the Platform Monitoring and Exception Team, you will play a key role in modernizing and optimizing our analytics codebase. This is a hands-on development role focused on enhancing the performance, maintainability, and scalability of SAS programs. You'll work closely with a team of experienced SAS developers to embed business rules directly into the code, reducing the need for manual change controls and improving operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and contribute to complex analytics initiatives with broad organizational impact.
  • Analyze and resolve multi-faceted analytics challenges, considering both tangible and intangible factors.
  • Modernize existing SAS code to align with current standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Work with SAS Visual Investigator and large volumes of SAS programs.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce resource usage.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, demonstrated through work, consulting, military service, or education.
  • Proficiency in SAS development (Base SAS certification required).
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Experience working with large-scale SAS codebases and data environments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage repetitive, process-intensive tasks with precision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAS Visual Investigator.
  • Familiarity with embedding business logic into code for dynamic rule management.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Additional Information
