Title: RF Calibration Test Technician
Location: Redmond, WA (onsite)
Duration: 6+ Month Contract
Compensation:$45.00 - 50.00/hr.

ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY
This role is focused on supporting RF systems through calibration, testing, and integration work. You'll be working with established procedures and tools to ensure system accuracy and reliability, while also assisting customers with calibration tasks. The position offers the opportunity to apply both RF knowledge and Linux/Python skills in a practical, hands-on environment without the pressure of new product development.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU
As an RF Calibration Technician, you'll:

  • Execute calibration routines using existing procedures and RF test equipment.

  • Support internal and external customers with calibration-related tasks.

  • Perform system-level integration of existing RF products.

  • Use Linux daily for system configuration, scripting, and remote file management.

  • Write and maintain Python scripts to automate tasks and streamline workflows.


KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

  • Daily use and configuration of Linux systems (Ubuntu, Red Hat, etc.).

  • Python scripting experience.

  • Familiarity with RF system architecture and RF path principles (attenuation, loss, VSWR, reflections).

  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (signal generators, spectrum analyzers, VNAs, couplers, splitters, etc.).


NICE TO HAVES

  • Experience supporting calibration activities in a lab or customer-facing environment.

  • Understanding of passive RF components in a signal chain.
