Job Description:
- Analyze, review, and research current business practices and industry principles to create internal standards, processes, training materials, and similar documentation. Duties include coordinating and collaborating with internal and external organizations and subject matter experts, analyzing information required for developing and updating physical security-related standards and processes, providing technical writing and editing services.
- Identify and document the requirements for a case and incident management system to meet internal needs, lead the process to identify systems that meet those criteria, lead the onboarding and implementation of the system, and transfer of legacy case and incident data into the new system.
- Extensive knowledge of physical security principles, standards, processes and instructions, design and implementation of physical security systems particularly in large financial institution environments, and of crime, threat and incident case management systems.
- Develop clear, concise, and accurate security documentation for a variety of audiences (technical and non-technical). This may include process documents, instructions, user manuals, configuration guides, security standards, training materials.
- Collaborate with security engineers, managers, and other technical specialists to gather subject matter expertise.
- Ensure technical accuracy and adherence to security industry standards, internal standards, best practices.
- Maintain and update existing security documentation.
- Design user-friendly documentation that is easy to understand and navigate.
- Understand the security posture and compliance requirements of the organization.
