About your role:
This is a great opportunity to join our Financial Institutions Group and a team of dynamic professionals working on high-profile product development projects. You will work on advanced concepts of software development for core banking applications such as open banking & microservices. This role will be involved in all steps of the ongoing Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including but not limited to, planning, requirements analysis, coding, unit testing, and issue management.

What you will do:
- Leverage your expertise as a hands-on software engineer on an online transaction processing (OLTP) application based in .NET
- Deliver quality code to integration testing, certification, and production environments
- Responsible for build and support of aligned application(s) or platform(s)
- Own tech stories, participate in code reviews, and support production
- Design performant, efficient, effective, and reusable technical solutions
- Partner effectively with DevOps, Production Support, and peer platform teams
Experience you'll need to have:
- 7+ years of experience in software development on large enterprise solutions desirably in core banking domain
- 5 years of experience building dynamic, responsive applications using modern JavaScript frameworks in Angular/React
- 5 years of experience working with Microsoft stack including C# and ASP.NET MVC
- 5 years of experience using RESTful API
- A Bachelor's Degree in IT/ Computer science or equivalent work experience
Experience that would be great to have:
- Experience with front-end component libraries such as Bootstrap, Foundation or Semantic UI
- Experience with relational database skills as well as exposure to SQL technologies
- Experience with Agile development
- Strong understanding of unit testing, mocking, and integration testing
- Experience with distributed systems and micro-services design principles
- Desire to continually learn new technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills
How you'll work:
