Position Overview: We are in search of a highly proficient Software Test Development Engineer with
specialized skills in embedded software development. Proficient in C and/or assembly code for
microcontrollers, the perfect candidate will ensure the caliber and dependability of our products.
Responsibilities include developing automated test scripts, software applications, and tools for
examining new product interfaces, connectivity, and performance benchmarks.
Responsibilities:
C language programming in an embedded atmosphere.
Create automated test scripts and software applications for evaluating new product interfaces,
connectivity, and performance.
Employ simulators and digital twins to craft detailed test scripts and software that blend into
the product development lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with multifunctional teams to guarantee smooth integration of test
solutions.
Utilize oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and in
circuit emulators to diagnose hardware issues.
Interpret schematics to comprehend hardware setups and recognize potential concerns.
Continuously enhance test scripts and software applications to boost testing efficiency and precision
Offer technical support and mentorship to junior colleagues.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or
related discipline. Master s degree is desirable.
Years of experience in embedded software development with a robust emphasis on C and/or
assembly language programming.
Demonstrated expertise with micro-controllers.
Adeptness in creating automated test scripts and software applications.
Sound grasp of software development methodologies, debugging strategies, and version control
systems.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, and VBScript.
Acquaintance with the C++ programming language is advantageous.
Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills and the capacity to operate successfully in a collaborative team
Environment.
