Job Details
Tech Valley Talent (TVT) has an opening for a Salesforce Administrator. This will be 4 days onsite in Albany, NY and onsite on Wednesdays.
DURATION: 8+ months with possible extension
LOCATION: Hybrid; Albany, NY
No third parties please only direct W2 or 1099.

Qualifications
- Certified Salesforce Administrator with Trailhead Badges/Super Badges
- Understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules)
- Minimum of 2+ years' experience administrating Salesforce/force.com products including Service Cloud
- Experience with Marketing Cloud and/or Call Center a plus.
- Experience Managing production updates/releases.
- Understanding of relational databases and data integration tools
- Experience with JIRA a plus.
- Ability to prioritize workstreams simultaneously and deliver results for a fast-paced program.
- Excellent organization and ability to analyze requirements and documents effectively.
- Strong technical understanding of the Salesforce platform along with excellent communication and analytic skills are required
- Excellent communication and analytical skills to engage with business subject matter experts to solve business needs and resolve issues.
- Drive and desire to learn and grow both technical and functional skill sets.
Day to Day Tasks
- All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups
- User support tickets (no after-hours support required)
- Identify and gather requirements from users and stakeholders for small enhancements.
- Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, Lightning Experience Sites, Approval Processes, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports.
- Sandbox environment management.
- Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed.
- Monitor user adoption.
- User training and creating training materials.
- Documentation in JIRA of issue resolution
- Documentation in JIRA of configuration changes
