Solution IT Inc. is looking for Oracle HCM Functional Consultant for one of its clients in Northern Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid - 2 days/week Onsite)

Job Title: Oracle HCM Functional Consultant

Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Oracle HCM Benefits Consultant to support the design, configuration, and optimization of our Oracle Cloud HCM Benefits module. This role will collaborate closely with the HR, Benefits, Payroll, and IT teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business and compliance requirements.
  • Client is 4+ years into their HCM implementation. They are running HR, payroll, benefits and recruiting.
  • Still need to implement a couple of modules including performance management
  • They are trying to initiate self-service for benefits and are running into issues that they believe will require changes in how they have benefits currently configured
  • Looking for this resource to help analyze the current benefits issues and review their original benefits implementation setup
  • Help define and implement a plan of benefits configuration changes, do reimplementation of benefits as needed, etc. to solve the main issue and move towards the self-service goal
  • Needs to be strong with benefits business and HCM functional knowledge
  • Knowledge of HCM Benefits integrations into payroll processing including retroactive would be needed
  • Technical knowledge of Oracle HCM
  • Work on customizations like Fast Formula
  • Mainly use the Oracle BI Reporting and Analytics module
  • Conversion is possible but not guaranteed at this time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead discussions with the HR, Benefits, Payroll, and IT teams to gather project requirements and translate them into system solutions.
  • Design and document functional specifications, process flows, and configuration guides.
  • Configure benefit plans, eligibility profiles, rates, life events, and enrollment rules.
  • Support testing and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user documentation.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient with Benefits business knowledge including Medical, Dental, Vision, Short-term Disability, Long-term Disability, FMLA, ACA, and 401K.
  • Proficient with HCM Benefits module setup and configuration including plans, eligibility criteria, life events, and enrollment.
  • Knowledge of HCM Benefits integrations into Payroll processing including Retroactive.
  • Experience with Fast Formulas is a plus.
