Job Description & Skill Requirement:

CAE durability and Method Development engineer:

Ph. D candidates who have prior research experience with FEA techniques, material model calibration and have demonstrated strong analytical skills to solve engineering problems.

Minimum of 7-10 years of Automotive industry experience as CAE engineer with Durability and Fatigue expertise.

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience using

ANSA/Hypermesh to build high fidelity durability models using include structure.

Solvers: NASTRAN and Abaqus Explicit

Exposure to durability on closures, BIW, door slam and Frame is must

Familiarity with Automotive product development process is must.

Expertise any fatigue analysis tool n-code is required.

Knowledge of post processor Meta Post or Hyper View is required.

Should be able to produce high quality CAE reports with clear conclusions.

Should be able to handle simulation independently and interact with design team for modifications based on CAE results.

Knowledge of Scripting languages is an added advantage.
