Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex software migration initiatives and IT projects. This role requires a proven track record of managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery on scope, cost, schedule, and quality. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership with deep technical project management expertise to drive organizational change and modernization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Manage the entire project lifecycle from definition through implementation, with accountability for scope, budget, timeline, and quality.
  • Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, establish milestones, and drive progress to completion.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Create and maintain effective communication plans with project teams, executives, and key stakeholders.
  • Team Direction: Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to project resources, ensuring alignment and productivity.
  • Change Management: Oversee and enforce effective change management practices throughout migration projects.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and deliver project documentation, status reports, and budget updates to leadership.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify, analyze, and resolve project risks and issues proactively.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Project Management Expertise: Strong background in IT project management, with emphasis on software migration projects.
  • Technical Tools: Proficiency in MS Project, Visio, Excel, and Word.
  • Leadership & Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Demonstrated judgment, decision-making, and analytical skills to resolve complex project challenges.
  • Change Management: Experience driving organizational change and adoption during IT transformations.
  • Methodologies: Familiarity with project management frameworks (e.g., PMI, Agile, or hybrid approaches).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 7+ years of IT project management experience, including software migration or system implementation projects.
  • PMP or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
