Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP S/4HANA Release Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of release activities across project and support landscapes in a complex Agile environment.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the success and stability of an enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA transformation, working across Agile Release Trains (ARTs), business units, and IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee full-cycle SAP S/4HANA release planning and execution across both N+1 project landscapes and support environments
Coordinate code deployment activities across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs)
Maintain and manage a centralized release calendar for both support and project environments, avoiding conflicts and optimizing sequencing
Collaborate closely with BASIS, QA, Development, Functional, and PMO teams to define, communicate, and validate cutover plans, code freezes, and transport paths
Drive alignment across DEV, QA, Pre-PRD, PRD, and sandbox environments, ensuring quality and consistency
Lead release readiness and deployment meetings, including go/no-go decisions, rollback planning, and post-deployment validations
Track and manage defects, issues, and escalations using tools such as SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM), JIRA, and other ITSM platforms
Provide clear, consistent communication to cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership

Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in SAP release management
Minimum 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA deployments
Deep understanding of SAP Transport Management System (TMS), cutover planning, and dual-stream release strategies
Experience managing releases across N+1 project landscapes and BAU support environments
Familiarity with Agile and SAFe frameworks, and proven ability to coordinate across multiple Scrum teams and ARTs
Proficient in SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM), JIRA, and other ALM/ITSM tools
Preferred Qualifications:
SAFe certifications (e.g., SAFe Agilist, Release Train Engineer (RTE))
Experience with SAP BTP, cloud integrations, and middleware deployments
Background in managing simultaneous project and support releases in large, complex SAP environments
