Location: Deerfield Beach, FL (Hybrid)
Duration: Full-Time / Long-Term Contract

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the design, strategy, and implementation of enterprise-level data solutions. This role requires a visionary leader who can translate logical designs into scalable, physical databases while ensuring seamless data flow across multiple systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data governance, data modeling, integration, and administration, along with the ability to influence architectural decisions and guide cross-functional teams toward successful delivery.

You will be the technical leader and escalation point for all data-related solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, driving reusability, and reducing complexity. This is a hybrid role based in Deerfield Beach, FL.

Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

Own end-to-end responsibility for data solution delivery.
Design and validate data models, data flows, and integration strategies.
Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
Develop strategies for data acquisition, archiving, recovery, and implementation.
Collaborate with stakeholders on data governance, ownership, usage, security, and quality.
Establish Data Architecture Design Patterns and best practices.

Technology Leadership

Serve as the lead technical representative in project delivery.
Provide direction to cross-functional teams and technology partners.
Drive risk management, technical issue resolution, and project escalations.
Ensure solutions are cost-effective, reusable, and production-ready.
Partner with PMO and enterprise architects to define long-term data strategy.

Requirements

10+ years of experience as a Data Architect.
Proven expertise in data warehousing, BI, and integration techniques.
Strong understanding of data governance, security, modeling, and analysis.
Hands-on experience with SQL, NoSQL, Big Data technologies.
Familiarity with Azure Synapse, Informatica, Power BI (preferred).
Strong communication skills with ability to present data concepts to business stakeholders.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Technical Skills

Databases: Azure SQL, Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, Cosmos, MongoDB, Hadoop
Integration Tools: Azure Data Factory, Informatica, MuleSoft, EventHub, Logic Apps
Cloud Platforms: Azure (primary focus)
Messaging Services: SOAP/REST, XML, JSON, EDI
Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and governance tools.
