Title: SAP MM Purchasing Consultant

Job Location: Foster City, CA

Duration: ~6 months

Hourly Pay Rate: $72 - $78/HR W2 (NO c2c)

The SAP MM Purchasing Consultant, specializing in Scheduling Agreements, is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and support of the P2P (Procure-to-Pay) process with an emphasis on long-term supplier agreements and Just-in-Time (JIT) material delivery. This role ensures that the procurement process within SAP MM is optimized for repetitive and scheduled material sourcing, maintaining supply chain continuity and efficiency.

  • Training & Documentation Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP MM Consultant
  • Expertise in SAP MM Purchasing, covering Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Contracts, and most critically, Scheduling Agreements
  • Proven experience with Scheduling Agreement Release Generation (Forecast and JIT) and the underlying configuration (e.g., Creation Profile)
  • Strong understanding of MM-IM processes: Goods Receipt (MIGO), Stock Transfers, and Physical Inventory
  • Solid knowledge of SAP Logistics Execution (LE) processes related to inbound delivery processing from an SA
  • Familiarity with integration points between MM, FI, and PP (especially MRP and how SAs are reflected in MD04)
  • Familiarity with EDI/IDoc message types used for procurement documents
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori-based procurement applications is a must
  • Experience of CIG and Ariba Supply chain collaboration is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve complex supply chain issues
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of facilitating workshops and interacting with both business users and technical teams
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage project deliverables on time
