A client of Sharp Decisions if looking for a Technical Project Manager. This role is HYBRID in Torrance, CA (4 days onsite. 1 day remote) with an initial contract of 20+ months. Pay starts at $65/hr, W2 only.

Daily Tasks Performed
- Responsible for assembling project plans and team work assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review: and escalating functional, quality timeline issues appropriately.
- Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources
- Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.
- Manages one or more cross-functional projects of high complexity.
- Ability to play the primarily role of Sr. PM. But also have the ability to learn the business aspects/domain at a high level to help deliver the project and business solution.
- Responsible for the management of one or more medium to large-sized, moderate to high complex projects.
- Plan vs. Actual cost checks issues/resolutions, schedule management and status reporting.
- What will this person be working on:
- Projects involving CCaaS, SaaS and other open platforms. These projects will follow Waterfall or Agile methodology.

Musts
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent experience.
- Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is preferred.
- Disciplined project management, and understanding of how a PM can help/guide a project
- Advanced understanding and ability to manage complex program and project budgets.
- Advanced ability in implementing program and project plans, monitoring progress, resource usage, and quality.
- Advanced knowledge in conducting risk assessments and developing plans for eliminating or mitigating the risks identified Business Experience 10 to 12 years of IT work experience 5 years managing projects

- Able to converse work with architecture/technical teams
- Strong decision analysis skills-particularly in recommending the right direction/method/tool for an opportunity.
- Experience in managing projects where there are more than 1 or more sub project components reporting to a common project lead/manager
