React Developer

Position: React Developer

Location: NYC, NY Hybrid

in- person interview required

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled React Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing interactive user interfaces, ensuring high performance and responsiveness across platforms. You will work closely with designers and backend developers to deliver seamless web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new user-facing features using React.js
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-enabled devices and browsers
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs
• Maintain and improve existing React applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a React.js Developer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux or Context API)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and data integration
• Knowledge of common front-end build tools such as Webpack, Babel, npm, yarn
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is a plus

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with TypeScript
• Knowledge of backend technologies (Node.js, Express, etc.)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest or Enzyme
• Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS/LESS
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
