Mid Level Network Engineer / Cloud / Cisco / Hybrid / Irving, TX

A leading provider of security solutions for homes and business is growing their team. They are looking to hire a Cloud Network Engineer on a 6 month contract to hire basis.

They are ideally looking for a Network Engineer having experience in working with Cisco devices, Palo Alto firewalls including Panorama/Prisma, and any F5 load balancing experience. On the cloud side they are looking for any cloud networking experience from AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform as they have a mixed backend. In this role you will be responsible for implementing enterprise network technologies across a hybrid footprint.

This is a hybrid role, with 1-3 days onsite as needed. It will be a 6 month contract to hire position located in Irving, TX.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 4+ years in IT network engineering roles, including LAN, wireless, WAN, SD-WAN, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Engineering network solutions utilizing Cisco, Palo Alto, VMware NSX-T/AVI, F5 load balancing
• Implement, and manage cloud and on-prem network technologies, focusing on security and VPC design across Azure, OCI, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with deploying and managing enterprise-grade network infrastructure, including wired and wireless networks, dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and VLAN configurations.

Desired Skills & Experience

• CCNA, CCNP or Cloud certification.
• Palo Alto certification.
