Job Description:
Job Title: Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer
Location: Hybrid - 4 days/week onsite in SE MI
Duration: Long-term contract position.
Overview:
This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and products that meet customer needs. Engineers in this function participate in the full software development lifecycle, including architecture design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization. Full-stack engineers capable of building both front-end and back-end components are especially valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with customers to understand their use cases, pain points, and requirements, advocating for user-centric software solutions. Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering software using various tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies (e.g., Agile), and technologies. Evaluate software requirements and determine the most suitable technology stack, integration methods, and deployment strategies. Design high-level software architecture, outlining structure, components, and interfaces. Work closely with cross-functional teams including product owners, designers, and architects. Define and implement software testing strategies, guidelines, and processes aligned with organizational goals, industry standards, and best practices. Continuously improve application performance and development efficiency by adopting new technologies. Apply modern programming practices such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery. Implement security measures to protect user data, including encryption and anonymization. Build user-friendly and interactive interfaces. Develop and maintain back-end services such as APIs and microservices using server-side languages. Stay current with emerging technologies and actively contribute to industry collaborations and innovation.
