Overview
This position supports the design and certification of secure communication systems used in classified environments. The engineer will contribute to advanced cryptographic technologies, secure system architectures, and solutions that enable protected data transfer. The role offers long term growth as the program expands.
Key Responsibilities
Lead systems engineering for secure communications platforms including architecture development and documentation for certification
Develop and integrate Type 1 encryption capabilities into hardware systems
Support classified waveforms and embedded cryptographic algorithms
Coordinate with government entities to ensure compliance with required standards
Support development of secure sensor devices and cross domain data transfer mechanisms
Required Qualifications Active Secret clearance
Strong background in systems engineering for secure or mission critical systems
Experience with Type 1 encryption development or certification
Knowledge of embedded encryptors and advanced cryptographic methods
Background supporting classified communications or waveform technologies
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with or supporting NSA efforts
Familiarity with HAIPE technologies
Background in software defined radio systems used for secure communications
Understanding of Beyond Line of Sight communications
Experience with cross domain solutions, data guards, or secure sensor device design
